Raise Funds With Friends

SwearStop

SwearStop 2011 raised nearly $40,000 for the Institute.

SwearStop is the annual online awareness and fundraising campaign for the Schizophrenia Research Institute. Held during Schizophrenia Awareness Week each May, SwearStop encourages people to give up swearing and invite their friends, family and colleagues to sponsor them.

Anyone can take part - it's a bit of fun and the more competitive you make it the better.

Registrations for 2012 will open in January. Email s.jauncey@schizophreniaresearch.org.au to express your interest now.

Everyone should get involved - medical research is costly and we need your help - the cost for the Australian Schizophrenia Research Bank of collecting and processing cells from a single blood sample is $80 - if everyone can get just 8 sponsors giving just $10, this will make a huge impact on what we do.
