Epidemiology and Population Health Panel
Aim
The aim of the Epidemiology and Population Health Panel is to investigate schizophrenia and related disorders at a population level. This includes the examination of antecedents, risk and protective factors; morbidity and mortality profiles; health and well-being indicators; the impact of various treatments, clinical service innovations and other interventions; and predictors of course and outcome.
A Schizophrenia Library will also be developed and maintained to provide up-to-date reliable information about all aspects of schizophrenia for scientists, clinicians, health administrators, consumer and carer groups, and the general public, with the aims of helping to inform policy and clinical guideline development and to frame pertinent research questions.
